Shri Devraj Deshpande started Deshpande Industries in small house in Tilakwadi, Belgaum in 1984. The main products were home appliances, especially mixer grinders. Starting with 5 units per month, the production reached upto 100 units per month, creating need for more man power, capital and space. The unit was then shifted to Camp area of Belgaum, where the head office of the company is now situated. The company moved on to produce more appliances such as electric stoves, washing machines. Gradually Deshpande Industries diversified from consumer to industrial products and entered into generator manufacturing. Since then, we have acted as dealers for Mahindra generator sets, while also manufacturing our own generators up to 20 KVA capacity. Deshpande Industries is now managed by Mr. Bharat Deshpande, Mrs. Medha Deshpande and Ms. Shriya Deshpande.
