I was born and brought up in Dapoli. My holidays were in the coastal beauty of Konkan. Exploring the beauty around and witnessing the mesmerizing sunsets at the end of each day became a habit. This habit is with me even today. My Eureka moment was when I got a camera to accompany my wanderlust. My camera and travels taught me the beauty of nature. It helped me see everything with a great perspective (pun intended). I began to appreciate the great perspectives of not just nature, but also of my family, friends, strangers… A couple excitedly exchanging rings, a mother wanting to preserve the cuteness of her children in sacred portraits, an event of ecstatic college students or just the joy of having tasty food – my photography helped me capture all such amazing moments in my camera lenses and everyone’s hearts. Photography was a passion throughout the ups and downs of my life. I won more hearts through my wins in photography competitions than through my grades in my Marketing course. It was tough for me to adjust to corporate life. It felt like my camera was gathering dust and my perspective was becoming black, white and dull. But, feeling the weight of a camera, strapped to my neck seemed to bring back all the colors of the world. With that strap around my neck, I felt like a doctor with a stethoscope – able to feel everyone’s heartbeat. The twists and turns of life have brought me to pursuing photography professionally. I worked hard, I traveled, and I laughed a little more every day while capturing the most amazing moments of nature and people. To me, every single photo is priceless. Every camera is an instrument of preserving memories, even the camera on your Phone. The only difference in your phone’s camera and my camera is that my camera has a heartbeat, mine.
